Adjusting the Infeed Table Height
The height of the infeed table with respect to the
cutting circle will determine the amount of
material to be removed from the work piece. To
raise or lower the table, turn the height adjusting
wheel (A, Figure 27) below the infeed table to
the desired height indicated by the guage (C,
Figure 27). For optimum performance and
safety your jointer has a stop pin (B, Figure 27)
to limit the amount of material removal to 1/8”
per pass. However, if a heavier cut is required,
the pin can be pulled out and the table adjusted
to the desired depth.
