IC SOCKETS

Orientation is vital. 

Make sure that the

 notches on the sockets match up with those on the PCB silkscreen.

 Once positioned,

place the Control Board over them (the side without the pre-soldered SMD), flip the whole sandwich-
thing around and then solder the sockets. It’s easier this way and also makes them stay nicely flat relative
to the board. 

Don’t place any IC’s yet.
