3.4 - USE OF THE REMOTE CONTROL
the remote control supplied with the air-conditioner is the
instrument that enables you to use the appliance in the most
convenient way.
it should be handled with care and in particular:
•
Keep it dry (do not clean it with water or leave it outdoors in
bad weather).
•
avoid dropping or bumping it.
•
Keep it out of direct sunlight.
•
The remote control operates by means of an infrared beam.
•
During use, there must not be any obstacle between the remote control and the air-conditioner.
•
If other appliances in the room have remote controls (TV, stereo, etc...), there may be interference
with consequent loss of the sent signal.
•
Electronic and fluorescent lights may also interfere with transmissions between remote control
and air-conditioner.
•
Remove the batteries in case of prolonged disuse of the remote control.
•
The remote control display goes off after a few seconds of non-use, to reactivate it press any
key.
