4.4.3. Adjusting the ZERO

Necessary when a cell is replaced. 

-

 

At least twice a year. 

-

 

Connect  a  voltmeter  to  the  two  terminal  posts  provided  for  that  purpose  (MF  and  MES),  as 

shown below. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Be sure to be in pure atmosphere (without gas) (If not, inject air) 

-

 

Adjust the ZERO (0 mV) with the potentiometer, item 1.Figure8 

 

 

4.4.4. Checking the sensitivity 

-

 

Necessary when a cell is replaced. 

-

 

At least twice a year. 

-

 

Prepare the calibration kit and secure the gas input pipe to the detector. 

-

 

Adjust the flow rate of the reference gas

(1) to 60 l/h before injecting. 

-

 

Allow to stabilize for at least 10 seconds. 

-

 

Check  that  the  alarm  or  alarms  are  triggered  (as  applicable

)  and  carry  out  the  following 

procedure.
