Control Elements

6.1 Control Unit

The control unit is the processing center of the eXp 4000. Via the control unit, various functions can be

selected, all measured values can be recorded and stored.

6.1.1 Front View

Figure 6.2 shows the front side of the control unit with its control elements.

The Power switch is used to power on the device. Prior to operating your unit, connect the external
Power Pack and turn it on.

The Start button is used to start a scan. When in "Manual" mode, it is also a secondary trigger to record
a measurement.

The joystick Connector is used to connect the joystick to the device. The joystick fullfils the same
functions as the Start button, but is more comfortable and can facilitate the measurement procedure.
