Chapter 13  Voice Synthesis

13.9.2  Melody Data

The melody data is the data in the memory that defines the tone, tone length, and the end tone,
and consists of two bytes.  The melody data format is shown in Figure 13-4.

(1)  Tone code

The tone code is set in bits 6 through 0 of the melody data.  The frequencies that
can be output by the melody circuit are defined as:
