Print Setup
Set the print menu and other print functions.
1.
Press
(SETTING).
2.
Select [Admin Setup], and then press (OK).
3.
Enter the administrator password.
4.
Select [Enter], and then press (OK).
5.
Press to select [Print Setup], and then press (OK).
6.
Change the setting, and then press (OK).
7.
Press until the top screen is displayed.

Sets the number of copies. For local printing, this setting is invalid except

Duplex
OFF
Turns the duplex printing function on or off.
[OFF]: simplex printing
[Long Edge Bind]: duplex printing for long-edge binding
[Long Edge Bind]: duplex printing for long-edge binding
Media Check
Enable
Sets whether to check an inconsistency between the paper size and the
page size of documents.
A4/Letter Override Yes
Set the function that automatically switches paper to print from A4 to
Letter if a tray runs out of A4 paper and Letter paper is loaded, or from
Letter to A4 if a tray runs out of Letter paper.
Resolution
600dpi
Sets the resolution.
Toner Save Mode
OFF
Sets the amount of toner to be saved.
This setting is enabled when copying, printing, printing received faxes,
and printing from USB Memory.
Orientation
Portrait
Sets the page orientation.
Lines Per Page
64 line(s) or
60 line(s)
Sets the number of lines of text per page (for PCL only).
The default number of lines for A4 portrait is 64. The default number of
the width is 60. The number of lines varies depending on the size of
paper in the paper feed tray.

Sets the size of the printable page area if the size is not specified with
the paper edit size command from a computer.

Manual Timeout
60 seconds
Sets for how many seconds the machine waits for paper to be fed before
cancelling a job when using the manual feeder.
Timeout Injob
40 seconds
Sets for how many seconds the machine waits until pages are output from
when the processing of the received data stops.
Timeout Local
40 seconds
Sets how long each port is left opened after a job is complete. (The
network is excluded.)
Timeout Net
90 seconds
Sets how long the network port is left opened after a job is complete.
Jam Recovery
Enable
Sets whether to print the pages again that are not printed due to a paper
