Simplex / Duplex
Simplex refers to originals or copies printed on one side of a page
only; duplex refers to originals or copies printed on two sides of a
page. Using this option, specify the number of sides on your original
and the number of sides for printing. There are four options as shown

If you specify a two-sided document or printing on both sides, the
Duplex Layout
buttons will be active. Select either a Top/Top or Top/
Bottom orientation. For example, if printing a letter size document
with a portrait orientation you may want to use Top/Top orientation so
readers can flip through the pages like a book. If you printing in a
landscape orientation, you want to use Top/Bottom so users can flip
the pages up.
