• Never use metallic or sharp tools (forks, tongs, knives, etc.) on the plate to not dam-
age it.
•
For skewers, satay or kebab preparation, submerge the wooden or bamboo skewers in
water to avoid burning them during the cooking. Do not use metallic skewers.
•
Sausages tend to pop during the cooking. To make some holes with the fork to pre-
vent this inconvenient is advised.
•
Fresh meat allows to obtain better results compared to frozen or thawed meat.
•
Do not pour salt on the meat during the cooking to maintain it soft.
• To obtain optimal results, the pieces of meat to grill should not be too thick (about
1,5 cm).
• During the cooking protect you hands with pot holders or kitchen gloves to avoid
burning yourself.
CLEANING
Before performing cleaning operations,
always disconnect the plug from the mains
power and wait for the appliance to be
completely cooled.
•
Before cleaning the appliance, remove it from the power socket and wait for it to be
completely cooled.
• If possible, dry the cooking residues with paper towel when the plate is warm. The
heating element is integrated into the plate.
Never pour cold water on the hot plate (5) to not damage the
appliance and/or to not cause hot water splashes.
•
Empty and clean the greases collection tray (6)
• Clean the plate (5) using paper towel soaked in cooking oil. To remove persistent
residues use a neutral detergent and a damp cloth.
•
Rinse the plate (5) with a damp cloth and dry it.
Never use strong and abrasive detergents, glass wool or flakes
to not damage the plate (5).
