> > Tips
• Start the barbecuing operations only when the grilling plate upper plane is very hot.
• Barbecuing has never been so easy.
• You can grill meat and vegetables at the same time;
• Between one cooking and another make sure that the greases collection tray (6) is
not full and that the slot in the plate (5) is not blocked.
• The tray is very hot. Use a pot holder or a kitchen glove.
• Do not spill the tray content. Burn danger!
• Pour a bit of water in the greases collection tray (6) to facilitate its cleaning.
• Start the cooking operations only when the plate inner part is very hot (indicator “8”
off).
• The cooking of large meat parts (steaks, chops,
etc.) requires an hotter plate.
• If you want to cook something else after a few
minutes, to maintain the plate hot by adjusting
the thermostat (7) to the minimum is advised
(the knob is on “Thermostat”); this allows a quick
plate heating when you set the ideal cooking
temperature again.
•
Do not place frozen foods on the plate. Thaw them before doing that.
•
“Soft” meat is suitable for barbecuing. Meat pieces, as, for example, steaks or ribs, are
softer if put to marinate overnight.
•
Do not cook the meat for too long; it’ll lose its flavor.
• The plate can be used to maintain cooked foods at the desired temperature too:
cover the plate with aluminium foil with the lucid side pointing upwards, then place
the foods on it and set the desired temperature using the thermostat.
• Do not flip grilled food too often. When the foods are well browned on both sides,
lower the temperature to prevent them from drying or to prevent them from getting
excessively cooked.
