››› IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before the appliance is used, the main body including the power cord as well as
any fitted attachment should be checked thoroughly for any defects. Should the
appliance, for instance. have been dropped onto a hard surface, it must no
longer be used: even invisible damage may have adverse effects on the
operational safety of the appliance.
•
The surfaces of the appliance, the double-sided grill plate, grill stone and mini-
pans become hot during use.
CAUTION: there is a danger of burning injury.
•
Do not leave the appliance: unattended while in use.
•
Children are not aware of the dangers that may occur when operating electrical
appliances. Therefore keep such appliances away from children.
•
Do not allow the power cord to touch any hot part of the appliance.
•
During operation, the appliance must be placed on a heat-resistant surface,
impervious to splashes and stains. When cooking food with a high fat or moisture
content. splashes are not always avoidable.
•
Do not position the grill next to a wall or corner, and ensure that no inflammable
materials are stored near it.
•
Before use. the double-sided grill plate and the grill stone must be placed on top
of the appliance over the heating element.
•
Always remove the plug from the wall socket:

after use;
-
in tax of any malfunction, and;
-
before leaning the appliance.
•
When removing the plug from the wall socket, never pull on the power cord;
always grip the plug itself.
•
No responsibility will he accepted if damage results from improper use, or if
these instructions are not complied with.
•
This appliance is intended for domestic use only and not for commercial
applications.
•
In order to comply with safety regulations and to avoid hazards, repairs of electrical
appliances must he carried out by qualified personnel, including the replacement
of the power cord. If repairs are needed, please send the appliance to one of our
customer scnice departments. The address can he found in the appendix to this
manual.
