2. INSTALLATION
2.1 Unpacking
Remove the product from the packaging and verify that the following components have been
included.
• Balance • Draft shield (51g model)
• Sub-platform • Draft shield cover (51g model)
• Platform • Wind ring (210g models)
• AC Adapter • Instruction Manual
• In use cover • Warranty Card
Save the packaging to ensure safe transport of the product.
2.2 Installing Components
Remove the cone cover from the top of the balance and store it for future use.
Refer to the illustrations below and install the appropriate components.
2.3Selecting the Location
Locate the balance on a firm, steady surface. Avoid locations with excessive air current, vibrations,
heat sources, or rapid temperature changes.
Level the balance by adjusting the leveling feet so the bubble is
centered in the circle.
