1-
Replacement of the grille: before fi xing the Vulcano head, it is advisable to replace the
grille on the rear side of the turbine, and set the perforated grille supplied with the head, using
the same screws (do it with the machine disconnected). This black perforated grille, is used
to prevent the machine to get clogged when sucking confetti that is falling over. If you are to
use it several times on the same place, make sure to clean the confetti around before so that
to avoid this obstruction or performance loss.
2-
Placement: Attach the Vulcano head to the turbine using the screws supplied, and
lining up the 4 holes. Place the machine in the intended place, either on a fl at and stable
surface on a tripod. In case of use of a tripod, make sure that it can hold at least 50 kgs
Adjust the inclination of the machine (advisable to use it vertically) and tighten the locking
knobs. You can also use it with a diff erent inclination, although its best performance is when
it is oriented vertically.
3.
Confetti: insert the confetti inside the Vulcano head, by the Output of Air and confetti
exit Do not put more than 500 grams of confetti, because otherwise it will be hard for the
turbine to raise them. Now you can already turn ON the machine.
4.
Power supply: connect the plug of the machine to a socket. Now you can turn on the
manual ON/OFF switch and the machine will begin to blow
You can activate the machine remotely thanks to a pushbutton switch connected to the
machine, or even by DMX via a Dimmer switch box. For this purpose, you must leave the
turbine in the position ON from its Manual switch ON/OFF. You can also connect more than
one machine and operate them simultaneously creating an amazing eff ect.
Remember that each machine consumes 1200 W, but on the boot/turning ON moment it
consumes approximately 3000 W. Make sure that the installation, DMX, or Dimmer devices
resist this consumption.
ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION
Remember that to assemble the acquired FX head, you must previously remove the Sky
dancer head supplied from the turbine by loosening and removing the screws
It is important to make sure that there is enough height so that the confetti does not touch the
ceiling or even prevents that the confetti is raised well.
