CITOARC AP 217/ AP 225
C - INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. STARTING UP
After connecting up, place the workpiece connector on the part to be cut and make sure that it makes good
electrical contact
, particularly on painted or rusty workpieces
.
Turn the 0/1 switch.
The green indicator will light up
Adjust the air pressure to 5 bar < P < 6 bar
using the hand wheel on the filter / regulator, and checking the pressure on
the gauge in front panel.
Choice the circuit cutting current using the range selector (for CITOARC AP
225).
The nozzle diameter should correspond with the range of intensity current
chosen.

Given below are tables to help you in the choice of ranges and nozzles to be used, depending on the thickness of
the cut .

CITOARC AP 225
The CITOARC AP 217 has a maximum cutting
capacity of 17 mm.
The CITOARC AP 225 has a maximum cutting
capacity of 25mm.
It has 2 cutting ranges.
- Use
a short, 1.2 nozzle and a TI 100 or TN + pad
plastron.
- Up to 8 mm
, use
range 1
with a short, 1.0 nozzle
and a TN + pad or TI 40 plastron.
You can also use cutting in contact with a long, 1.2
nozzle and a TN plastron without pad.

Above 8 mm
, use
range 2
with a short, 1.2 nozzle
and a TI 100 or TN + pad plastron.
