16' DUCT ATTACHMENT  

FOR 12" BLOWER FAN

SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND 

WARNINGS

Thoroughly read and understand the 

provided product manual before attempting to use this 

product.

DO NOT attempt to disassemble, repair or 

modify this attachment.

 

WARNING

DO NOT place the attachment over face 

or head; this poses a risk of suffocation.

 

WARNING

DO NOT allow children or pets to enter 

the attachment; this poses a risk of suffocation.

 

WARNING

DO NOT operate near a heat source or 

open flame. 

 

WARNING

DO NOT submerge this attachment in 

water or other liquids.

CAUTION:

 DO NOT attempt to stretch this attachment to 

fit cylinder diameters larger than 13.5"; this may lead 

to product malfunction.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

1.  Place the fan onto a clean, protected surface that 

can support the weight of the fan. Ensure the fan 

is placed at a distance that does not overextend 

the cord or place tension on the plug.

2.  Secure the Duct Attachment to extract or  

ventilate air:

 

a.   Extract: Secure the attachment input side 

(opposite of air flow) by pulling the Adjustment 

Cord and knotting tightly. Place the open end 

of the Duct Attachment in the location where 

air is to be extracted.

 

b.   Ventilate: Secure the attachment to output side 

(direction of air flow) by pulling the Adjustment 

Cord and knotting tightly. Place the open end 

of the Duct Attachment in the location where 

air is to be ventilated.

NOTE:

 The Duct Attachment can be suspended from 

a wall or ceiling using the D-Rings featured on the 

midpoint and open end of the Duct Attachment.
3.  Plug the fan into a grounded 120V / 60 Hz outlet.
4.  (FOR 24897) Test GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit 

Interrupter) before each use.

 

a.   Press the RESET button. Indicator should turn 

red.

 

b.   Press the TEST button. Indicator should turn 

off.

 

c.   Press the RESET button again before 

attempting to use.

 

d.   DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE IF GFCI TEST 

FAILS. Call customer service for assistance.

5.  (FOR 24897) Adjust to the desired speed with the 

toggle switch:

 

0 – OFF

 

1 – Low

 

2 – High

6.  Turn the fan to OFF before unplugging from the 

electrical outlet.

STORAGE 

Store the Duct Attachment in an upright position and in 

a clean, dry area. DO NOT store near flammable items 

or open flames. 

PRODUCT MAINTENANCE 

 

WARNING

Unplug the fan and remove Duct 

Attachment before performing maintenance on the 

Duct Attachment.

 

WARNING

DO NOT use solvents or cleaners to wipe/

clean the duct attachment. This may lead to product 

failure or malfunction.
After disconnecting the Duct Attachment, use a clean, 

damp cloth to wipe any dust from the outside of the 

attachment. Allow the Duct Attachment to sit fully 

extended to dry before storing or attempting to use 

with a fan. 

DISPOSAL

At the end of the useful life of the OEMTOOLS

 Duct 

Attachment, dispose of the components in accordance 

with all federal, state and local regulations.
