Operating modes
Switching off
∙ Press and hold the multi-function switch for 2 seconds to turn off the unit. The red LED flashes once.
Automatic switch-off
∙ If the unit is in pairing mode for 5 minutes without a connection, the BTR will automatically switch off.
Change mode TX/RX
∙ Switch TX (transmitter) or RX (receiver) mode only when the unit is switched off.
Change Audio Outputs/Inputs RCA/SPDIF
∙ Use this switch to select the audio outputs/inputs.
Transmission quality
The BTR Evolution 5.1 can display the Bluetooth
®
transmission quality. Here, in TX mode, the:
∙ Blue LED for SBC
∙ Green LED for APTX™
∙ White LED for APTX™-LL
∙ Red and blue LED together for APTX™ HD.
Also in RX mode, the transmission quality is illustrated as follows:
∙ Blue LED for SBC
∙ Red LED for AAC
∙ Green LED for APTX™
∙ White LED for APTX™-LL
∙ Red and blue LED for APTX™-HD
As soon as no audio signal is transmitted, the LED lights up blue.
Reset
1. Switch off the unit
2. Press the power button for 10 seconds
3. Release the power button
Important safety instructions
To avoid the risk of fire, electrical short circuit or damage to the product, please follow these instructions:

Do not expose the product to rain or moisture. Do not place vessels filled with water on top of the
product.
2. Do not install the product in a bookcase, built-in cabinet or similar confined space. Make sure that
the unit is well ventilated.
3. To prevent an electrical short circuit or fire due to overheating, do not cover the unit or place objects
on top of the unit.
4. Do not place the appliance near heat sources such as heaters, stoves, etc.
