In the file box enter where to save the data to and a file name such as (c:\hyperterm\filename.csv). Use a .CSV extension
so that the file will open directly into Excel.

Select start.

Press the USB symbol on the RP460 to download all memory locations. The computer will confirm the download
completion by displaying “Done” in the HyperTerminal window.

Left click “Transfer”, from the menu on the top of the HyperTerminal window.

From the drop down menu select Stop. This will close the data file.

Close out the HyperTerminal program and disconnect the cable from the RP 460.

Open the stored data file and add comments and headers as necessary for a professional records presentation.

From the web site
www.ftdichip.com
select “drivers” then select “VCP”. From this window select “setup executable” file
for the windows operating system compatible with the computer used for download.
6.2
Save the file to the computer.
6.3
Run the file to install the driver on the computer. The drivers will install but will not become active until the RP460 is
connect and turned on. It may look the installation did not do anything but the drivers were installed.
