What else is there on the staff?
Every song in this book begins with the symbol of the G clef.
The staff is divided into sections called bars (or measures). Each bar contains an equal
number of beats. A song ends when you encounter the double line, the end bar.
The first three notes!
The higher the dot of the note is on the staff, the higher the note that you're playing will
sound. Every note has a letter as its name: C – D – E – F – G – A or B.
We start with the note B.
This note lies on the third line.
This is how you play the note
B
