5. REAR PANEL CONNECTIONS
Legend
XLR Input
Pin 1: Ground, Pin 2: +, Pin 3 –
RCA Cinch Input
Input for preamplifier (using RCA Cinch interconnect)
Ground Lift
Allows connecting or floating the ground connection of the
XLR and RCA Input. In the standard configuration (electronic
Input) the value for the position “Connected” is 0 ohms and
for “Disconnected” is 18 ohms
Loudspeaker Terminal
Binding posts to connect the speaker cable.
Red = positive terminal, Black = negative terminal.
You can connect either 4 mm Banana connectors or spades.
The negative speaker terminal is connected to ground.
Black-Box-Connector
The (Super) Black Box is an outboard power supply
capacitance upgrade for the power amplifier section
(see chapter 8).
You must switch off the MRE 220 SE using the power switch
before connecting and disconnecting the Black Box!
