How to scan an A3 original on the platen

Place and align the original face down on the platen.
Use the short-edge feed direction.

Select the 'Scan' mode .
The 'Workflow' section opens automatically.

Select a 'Scan profile' with the Arrow keys .

Activate the 'Original' section.
Select '1-sided' in the 'Original' function box.

Select the icon in the 'Original type' function box to define the orientation of
the information of the original.

Activate the 'Digital document' section.
Make sure that the 'Page size' card is open.

Select the A3 size in the 'Size' function box.

Note:
If the required page size is not A3, you must adjust the enlargement or
reduction (see ‘Make an enlarged or reduced digital document’ on page 121).
