11.3. Declaration of Conformity for CANADA
Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including inter-
ference that may cause undesired operation of the device.
Usually this is followed by the following RSS caution:
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the
user's authority to operate this equipment.
12. Configuration-Reset (Factory setting)
With the help of the jumper B2 it is possible to set the reader back to the factory settings.
1. Disassembly the upper part of the reader housing, see chapter: 9. Installation)
2. Put a 2 mm jumper to connector B2 and power on the reader again. For this connect the reader
again with the adapter board.
3. An alternating beep signal indicates a successful configuration reset.
4. Now the jumper must be removed
Note:
after this configuration reset also the TCP/IP settings and the crypto settings for the TCP/IP
encryption are set back to the factory settings.
