WARNING!
In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent
resetting, this appliance must not be supplied through
an external switching device, such as e.g. a timer, or be
connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off
automatically.
18.
Always check the appliance, the cord and the switch before
use. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, an authorized service agent or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
19.
Extra protection can be obtained by installation of a residual
current device of 30mA. Check with your installer.
20.
The appliance is for domestic use only.
21.
If the appliance is used for other purposes than intended, or
is it not handled in accordance with the instruction manual,
the full responsibility for any consequences will rest with the
user. Any consequential damages to the product or other
things are not covered by the warranty.
Before use
Wipe off the plates with a damp cloth and lubricate with some cooking grease
before you use the waffle maker for the first time. Do not eat the first two waffles.
Use
Plug the appliance to a wall outlet and the signal lamp surrounding the temperature
controller will turn orange. Set the wanted temperature by turning the temperature
button on top of the waffle maker to the wanted setting. Setting 1 corresponds
to low temperature (pale baking) and 5 corresponds to high temperature (darker
baking). We recommend that you try your way to get the result that you want.
When the set temperature has been reached, the signal lamp changes to green
and the appliance is ready for use.
Baking
Pour the batter in the centre of the lower plate and close the waffle maker. It is
important that the handles are not completely closed during baking, as this will
prevent the waffle from “fermenting”. The signal lamp may go on and off during
baking, which means that the correct temperature is maintained.
