• If the boiler has severe scale build-up, remove with a regular descaling
agent – e.g. citric acid. It is very important that the instructions for the agent
concerned is followed closely, and that the agent is poured out of the boiler
after the stated time of effect, and that the water from the first couple of
boiling changes after descaling is not used.
• If there is still a lot of scale left after descaling, the water boiler must be
descaled again and descaling should occur more often in the future.
• The descaling process is facilitated by heating the liquid to approximately
50-60°C.
IMPORTANT:
Do not use sharp objects when descaling/cleaning the heating
plate in the bottom of the water boiler. If scale is not removed on a regular
basis it may cause severe damage to the heating plate and/or boiler. Any such
damage is not covered by warranty.
The water boiler’s surface can be wiped clean using a soft cloth moistened
with a mild detergent. Wipe over with a dry, soft cloth or a piece of kitchen
paper. Never use scouring powder or other abrasive cleaners which may
scratch or dull the surface of the water boiler.
Disposal of the appliance
Legislation requires that all electrical and electronic equipment must be
collected for reuse and recycling. Electrical and electronic equipment
marked with the symbol indicating separate collection of such
equipment must be returned to a municipal waste collection point
Warranty
Claim according to valid law. Machine stamped receipt shall be enclosed if
one wishes to make a complaint. The appliance shall be returned to the store
where it was purchased.
