The housing and in particular the lid get
very hot during use, so do not touch these parts
during use.

Hot water may be accumulated at the
inner side of the lid during use. Hold the lid on
both sides when lifting it in order to avoid scalding
by steam and hot water.
13. Let the appliance cool off before you remove any
parts, before cleaning and before you empty the
appliance.
14. Do not move the appliance when it is full of water.
15. Position the appliance on a stable and moisture-
resistant surface.
16. Put water in the container above the MIN marking.
17. Do not overfill the container and make sure that
the water does not overflow when the vacuum
pouch/pouches are submersed in the water.
18. The appliance should only be used under
supervision.
19. The appliance is not for outdoor use.
20. Always check the appliance, the cord and the
switch before use. If the cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized
service agent or a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid a hazard.
21. Extra protection can be obtained by installation
of a residual current device of 30mA. Check with
your installer.
22. The appliance is for domestic use only.
23. If the appliance is used for other purposes than
intended, or is it not handled in accordance with
the instruction manual, the full responsibility for
any consequences will rest with the user. Any
