Environmental considerations regarding disposal of
batteries
When replacing batteries it is necessary to consider the environment.
Used batteries must never be disposed of together with household
waste but must be disposed of at designated collection points.
Batteries must be removed before the unit is discarded. You must
also make sure that you do not let the batteries get too old and low in
power, as there is a risk that they will start to leak. Check the expiry
date for the batteries and remove them before they get too old.
Disposing of the used appliance
By law, electrical and electronic equipment must be collected for the
recycling of components. Electrical and electronic equipment marked
with the waste management symbol must be disposed of at a municipal
recycling point.
