6. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Children
are not always able to understand potential risks. Teach children a responsible handling
of electrical appliances.
7. Check that the cord is not hanging over the edge of the table.
8. Do not place the kettle on or near hotplates, open fire or the like.
9. The appliance should only be used under supervision.
10. Risk of burn injuries! Hot steam from the appliance may cause burns. Observe the
maximum level of the water gauge. Never open the lid when the kettle is in use.
11. Do not operate the kettle without water.
12. Before the kettle is filled with water, always unplug the kettle.
13. WARNING! If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may splash out.
14. Always examine appliance, cord and plug for damage before use. If the supply cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, or his service agent or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
15. The electrical installation must comply with the present legislation concerning additional
protection in the form of a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating
current not exceeding 30 mA). Check with your installer.
16. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments
17. If the appliance is used for other purposes than intended, or is it not handled in accordance
with the instruction manual, the full responsibility for any consequences will rest with the
user. Any damages to the product or other things are not covered by the warranty.
Disposal of the appliance
Legislation requires that all electrical and electronic equipment must be collected
for reuse and recycling. Electrical and electronic equipment marked with the symbol
indicating separate collection of such equipment must be returned to a municipal
waste collection point.
Warranty
Warranty according to current law. Any claim shall be accompanied by the cash receipt with
purchase date. When raising a claim the appliance must be returned to the store of purchase.
