Winding of the cord
Please note that the toaster comprises a cord winding device in the bottom, which makes it
easy to store when not in use.
How to use the radio
Pull the telescopic aerial to be sure to have a good radio reception. The aerial can be put in
different angles, but cannot be bent over the toaster.
Switch on the radio by pressing the on/off button (12). Then press the ”Band” button (9) to
choose AM or FM band. Turn the ”Store” button (8) to set the wanted radio station. When
the radio has tuned in the wanted station, you can lock the station by means of the memory
function.
The memory function allows setting of 5 permanent stations to make it easy to find your
favourite station.
Once the wanted station has been found (as described above), press the ”Store” button (8)
until the display flashes ”01”. Release and press once more the “Store” button (8), and the
station is memorized.
If you want to shift between memorized stations, press the ”Store” button (8).
Furthermore, the radio comprises an equalizer for five options, Classical, Rock, Pop, and
Jazz). Press the “EQ” button (11) for selection.
Cleaning and maintenance
Make sure the toaster is cold, that the lever is in its upper position and that the plug has been
taken out of the outlet before cleaning the toaster. Bread crumps etc. drop into the crump tray
at the bottom of the toaster. Pull out the crump tray and clean it with a brush or similar before
pushing it back into the toaster.
Wipe the outer faces of the toaster with a damp cloth and polish with a try, soft cloth. Do
not use scouring powder or aggressive detergents which may scratch the surface of the
appliance.
Safety instructions
1. Read the instruction manual carefully before use and save it for future use.
2. Plug the appliance to a household outlet of 230V only and use the appliance only for the
intended use.
3. Always unplug the appliance from the mains supply when not in use.
4. The appliance must not be immersed into water or other liquids.
5. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety.
6. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Children are not always able to understand potential risks. Teach children a responsible
handling of electrical appliances.
7. Check that the cord is not hanging over the edge of the table.
8. Do not place the appliance on or near hotplates, open fire or the like.
