OPERATION
MOUNTING THE CAMERA TO THE
VIDEO HEAD
After mounting the quick-release
plate to your camera, make sure
that all the knobs on the head are
tightened, except for the quick-
release knob.
1. Turn the quick-release knob
counterclockwise until it stops.
2. Mount the camera to the head,
by sliding the quick-release
plate into the clamp.
3. Turn the quick-release knob
clockwise to lock the plate.
Warning: Always use one hand to
secure the camera while adjusting
the video head, and make sure that
the lock is engaged before letting go
of the camera.
LEVELING THE CAMERA
The head has an integrated
bubble level to ensure that
your camera is aligned with the
horizon.
1. When using the Oben AT-3565
or CT-3565 tripod, loosen the
leveling base’s lock by turning
it counterclockwise.
2. Adjust the leveling base until
the bubble level is centered,
and tighten the leveling base
lock until secure.
TILT CONTROL
1. Loosen the arm adjust knob to
set the arm at the desired angle.
Tighten the arm adjust knob
until secure.
2. Loosen the tilt lock by turning
it counterclockwise to tilt your
camera
When the tilt knob is loosened,
a spring-loaded counterbalance
will allow smoother tilting.
PAN CONTROL
Loosen the pan knob to pan or
change position of the camera.
The built-in fluid-type drag
ensures smooth and even camera
movement.
Tighten the pan knob by turning
it clockwise to set the position of
the camera.

LEG LENGTH ADJUSTMENT
To independently adjust the
height of each leg, do the
following:
1. Loosen the twist locks just
enough so the legs can be
adjusted.
Note: Don’t over-loosen the twist
locks.
2. Adjust the leg to the desired
height, and tighten the twist
locks until secure.
