Anchoring the Fountain Unit
A ) Shore anchorage (Fig. 4) It is necessary to anchor the Fountain Unit to
ensure that it retains its position in the water.
1. Attach plastic/nylon ropes (2) to the three eyelets on the float (1).
2. Fasten the other (free) ends of the ropes, evenly distributed, to the pond
shore or edge of the pool.
Attention!
Ensure that the ropes do not present an injury risk. Secure the area around
the Fountain Unit. Ensure that the ropes are only moderately tensioned to
allow for fluctuations in the water level.
B) Anchorage to the Bottom of the Pond (Fig. 5)
1. Fasten nylon ropes (2) to the three lugs of the float (1).
2. Plumb the depth of the water.
3. Cut the nylon ropes (2) to length, i.e. depth of the water + 1 m.
4. Tie an anchor weight to the other (free) ends of the ropes (weight approx.
20 kg of concrete).
5. Position Fountain Unit on the water and allow the weight to sink to the bottom
of the pond/pool.
Attention!
Ensure that the ropes are not tensioned as they
must allow for fluctuations in the water level.
Cleaning (Fig. 2)
1. Pull out the mains plug or disconnect from the electrical mains and secure
against switching on again.
2. Take Fountain Unit out of the water or drain water out of the pool.
3. Spray down floats, nozzle holder and filter housing with a jet of water and
clean with a soft brush.
4. Cleaning the Fountain: Release the three fastening screws (6).
5. Lever the Fountain out of the central point using a screwdriver, and remove
the Fountain (5).
6. Remove any dirt from inside the fountain holder.
7. Repeat the procedure in the reverse order to assemble the Fountain.
Cleaning the pump:
Release the pump from the nozzle holder and clean the
pump according to the Instructions for Use.
During the Winter
Remove the Fountain Unit from the water when frost is expected. Freezing of
the unit may lead to damage to the float and pump. Therefore, store the Fountain
Unit frost free. Observe the Instructions for Use of the pump.
