OPERATION
N O T E
Even
when
using
a
power
supply
unit:
If
you
are
going
to
be
absent
for
a
pro
‐
longed
period,
insert
new
batteries
to
en
‐
sure
that
the
food
is
reliably
dispensed
(even
if
there
is
a
power
cut).
The
uniformity
of
the
food
rations
is
strongly
dependent
on
the
type
of
food.
OASE
recom
‐
mends
using
food
in
the
form
of
crisps
or
pel
‐
lets.
Flakes
should
be
broken
into
smaller
bits
if
necessary.
When
filling
the
food
container
ensure
that
the
guide
pin
in
the
housing
is
not
soiled.
Occasionally
check
that
the
food
container
is
correctly
moved
out
and
that
the
food
is
dis
‐
pensed
as
intended.
MAINTENANCE
AND
CLEANING
N O T E
Do
not
use
rechargeable
batteries.
Reprogram
the
unit
after
changing
the
batteries.
Remove
the
batteries
if
the
unit
is
not
used
for
a
prolonged
period.
Wipe
the
unit
on
the
outside
with
a
damp
cloth
and
allow
to
dry.
Ensure
that
the
slide
pin
in
the
housing
is
not
soiled.
DISPOSAL
Do not dispose of this unit with domestic waste!
For disposal purposes, please use the return sys-
tem provided. Render the unit unusable before-
hand by cutting the cables
