Calling using speed dial
��ou can create speed dials for frequently-called phone numbers or accessed items� ��ou may choose Speed
�ial entries from 2-99� Speed �ial 1 is reserved for voice mail access� ��ou can create a Speed �ial for a
phone number, a program on the Start menu, an e-mail address, or a U�L address that is stored in your
phone’s Contacts�
NOTE �ssign a speed dial key to a phone number before using the speed dial feature�
Create a speed dial only for a phone number, e-mail address, or �eb page address
that is stored in your phone’s Contacts� ��ou cannot create a speed dial for a contact
stored in the SIM card�
To create a speed dial for a phone number, an e-mail address, or a URL address
1� On the �ome screen, press
Start > Contacts

2� Select a contact and press to view the contact details�
3� Select the phone number, e-mail address, or U�L address you want to assign a speed dial� Press
Menu
> Add to Speed Dial �
4� �nter appropriate details in Name, �alue, and Keypad assignment � In
Keypad assignment
, use the
Left/�ight navigation keys to select, or press to view the full list of choices�
5� Press Done �
NOTE To quit at any time during this process, press Menu > Cancel �
