The table below is a guide to help you get the most from your mobile broadband experience.
Tip:
GPRS, EDGE, 3G, HSDPA and HSPA are all types of mobile networks. HSDPA and
HSPA are the fastest, however any Wi-Fi hotspot connection will generally be the fastest
way of connecting to the internet.
How fast can you go?
The speed you get will depend on how far away you are from a transmitter, the
number of people using the network and the type of network you’re connected to.
As we improve our network you will automatically connect to the fastest network
available. The LED on the modem changes colour to indicate which network is
available and which network you’re connected to.
