e) Impulse duration

4

The impulse duration can be set to 30 ms, 50ms or 100 ms, depending on the
impulse value.

30 ms (f

max

= 16.7 Hz)

50 ms (f

max

= 10 Hz)

 2

100 ms (f

max

= 5 Hz)

In the case of a primary impulse output, the impulse value and the impulse duration
cannot be changed. The impulse value is set to 1 Imp./kWh and the impulse duration
is set to 500 ms (see also Section

6.4  Outputs

 on page 16).

Closing edit mode:

1. Permanently

Exit edit mode with "Close". The hand symbol does not appear on the display. Edit
mode can no longer be activated to change the data.

Pressing the button briefly switches to the next menu item; hold down the button to edit
the displayed value. Depending on the meter model, a new value is displayed. Pressing
the button briefly switches to the next value. Hold down the button to apply the displayed
value and switch to the next menu item. All other values are changed in edit mode by
following the same procedure.

When entering transformer factors, all displayed digits blink until the end.
This new value is applied by holding down the button.

When the button is held down for a longer time the display jumps from any position of the
standard menu back to the standard display. This happens whenever the button is not
pressed during a period longer than 5 minutes.

At the end of edit mode there are

2 possibilities

for exiting edit mode. Holding down the

button when

"Escape"

is displayed exits the edit menu, but the menu can be opened

again at any time.

1.

 When

"Close"

is displayed, edit mode is permanently closed upon exiting (no hand

symbol on the display). The edit menu cannot ever be opened again. The display
switches back to standard display. In each case, the edited data is applied.

Note:

If the button is not pressed during a period of more than 5 minutes, the display jumps
back to the standard display. In this case, edit mode is not closed permanently, i.e. the
data can be edited at a later time.

= short actuation (t

actuation

= long actuation (2 s

 t

actuation

 < 5 s)

Editing example:

In the following table the value for the "Scale" of the energy registers is changed by way
of example from 8.0 to 7.1. The same procedure is used for changing the transformer
and S0 constants and the impulse duration.
