6. SPECIAL

The Special Setup is used to control the DAY/NIGHT, SENSING, SHARPNESS, COMMUNI-
CATION, ACCESS CONTROL, and FACTORY DEFAULT of the Integrated camera.

6.1 DAY/NIGHT (COLOR, BW, AUTO) -

This function is used to control the color setting

during daytime and night-time operation.

•

COLOR:

The camera is always in color mode even during night-time operation.

•

BW:

The camera is always in BW (black and white) mode.

•

AUTO:

The color mode is operated during daytime and automatically converts to B/W

mode in the absence of adequate lighting during night-time.

6.2 SENSING

(BRT, CDS, ALL)

 -

The SENSING option allows the user to choose between

BRT and CDS sensing modes.

•

BRT:

The camera relies on the brightness of the image to detect the light levels.

•

CDS:

The camera relies on the CDS sensor to detect the light levels.

•

ALL:

The camera relies on both BRT and CDS sensor to detect the light levels.

6.3 SHARPNESS

The SHARPNESS option allows the use to sharpen the edges of an

object.  A setting too high can produce noise and potentially obscure the image.
