6. DAY/NIGHT (Models equipped with Day/Night only)
The Day/Night Setup is used to control the MODE, SENSING, DELAY TIME,

DAY, and the IR LED SETUP of the EasyView™ 2 dome
camera.
6.1 MODE (AUTO, COLOR, B/W)
This function is used to control the color setting during daytime and night-time operation.
• AUTO:
The color mode is operated during daytime and automatically converts to B/W
mode in the absence of adequate lighting during night-time.
• COLOR:
The camera is always in color mode even during night-time operation.
• BW:
The camera is always in BW (black and white) mode.
6.2 SENSING
(CDS, OPD)
The ‘SENSING’ option allows the user to choose between the ‘CDS’ and the ‘OPD’ sens

ing modes.
• CDS:
The camera relies on the CDS sensor to detect the light levels, then triggers the
IR cut-filter movement.
• OPD (Optical Detector):
The OPD block detects the color and brightness based on the
screen information, then triggers the IR cut-filter movement.
