11.6 Checking and changing the lubricating oil and filter
During the compressor initial break-in period, the original oil filter and lubricating oil must be changed at the 25-
hour runtime mark. After the initial change of lubricants and filter the oil and oil filter must be changed every
100 hours of use or annually, whichever comes first.
HP Compressor Lubricant: Only use lubricants rated for use with nitrox, such as Nuvair 455™ Synthetic Food
Grade Lubricant or Nuvair 751™.
Never mix compressor lubricants.
Nuvair Compressors are shipped with
Nuvair 455 Synthetic Food Grade Lubricant or Nuvair 751 in the compressor. Coltri OIL CE750 and Anderol
755 may also be used, but not mixed with Nuvair oil.
