1 SAFETY INFORMATION
Before attempting to operate this machine, you must read,
understand and follow these instructions very carefully as
they are intended to ensure your safety and that of others
and also a long and trouble-free service life of the machine.
Learn how to use the power tool, its limitations and potential
hazards.
Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.
Beware children and pets
Children and pets should be kept out of the work area.
All power tools should be kept out of the reach of children
and, preferably, stored or locked in a secure cabinet or dry
room when not in use.
Use the right tool
Select the right tool for the job. Do not use a tool for a job for
which it was not designed. Do not force a small tool to do
the job of a heavy-duty tool. Do not use tools for purposes
not intended.
Do not force the power tool
The power tool will do a better and safer job and give you
much better service if it is used at the rate for which it was
designed.
Important!
This power tool complies with National and International
Standards and safety requirements. Repairs should be
carried only out by qualified persons using original
spare parts. Failure to do so may result in considerable
danger to the use.
Do not use machines, attachments and chargers for works
other than those for which they are designed for.
Before drilling holes or screwing into a wall, in case of
doubt check with a metal-/voltage detector that you are not
breaking into an electricity, gas or water supply line.
Before you lay down the Drill/Screwdriver, make sure that
all moving parts have come to a stop.
Avoid frequent stalling when screwing or drilling, as this
could damage the batteries.
Only Connect the charging device to a 230-240V AC
supply.
Verify that the power supply in your area is compatible with
the voltage listed on machine.
Charge Drill/Screwdriver battery only with the appropriate
charging device.
The charging device and the Drill/Screwdriver must be
protected from moisture!
Do not use the charging device in the open.
To protect the batteries from damage, you should never
expose them to temperatures above 50ºC.
Check the electrical tools and electrical connections for any
damage.
Connect the power lead to the mains only with the tools
turned off.
When passing this device over to a third person, this
instructions must be handed out too.

3 INITIAL OPERATION
Charging the Battery
The rechargeable battery must be charged before the first
use. Only recharge the battery once it is has been fully
discharged, i.e. the performance clearly decreases
Otherwise the battery may not achieve its full capacity at the
subsequent charge
Important!
Only use the provided battery charger for charging
the battery. First connect the charger into the tool and
then connect the charger to the mains. Charging starts
automatically.
Remove the battery from the charge after about 5 hours.
Always disconnect the charger from the mains before
you remove the battery from the charger.
Insert the charger plug (Fig. 2 - a) into the charging
socket (Fig. 2 - 5), and connect the charging unit up to a
power supply.
Inserting Tool Bits
The machine has a quick release chuck feature, simply
push back the collar to insert of extract the tip you are using.
Let the collar slide to lock in you tip (Fig. 3).
On/Off Trigger
Use the On/Off trigger to start the machine and keep
holding it for continuous operation. The rotation speed can
be varied by depressing the On/Off trigger. The more the
trigger is depressed, the faster the rotation speed.
To switch the machine off, release the On/Off trigger.
Light
The machine has a built in light so as to perform tasks in
dark environments. The switch to turn the light on is at the
bottom of handgrip. Simply slide the switch on and off as
required when needed. Turn off when not needed so as to
save battery life.
Battery power indicator
The screwdriver has a battery indicator, it is very easy to
show the battery capacity, only need to press the button
(fig. 4 - b) when you want to check it, green/yellow/red light
showed the battery power full or low.
