FILM LOSS EQUALIZATION

         After all the calibration procedures are complete, film loss EQ dip switches 

DS1 and DS2 should be set.  DS1 is for recording preemphasis and DS2 is for 

monitor deemphasis. Both are complimentary to each other and should therefore 

always   be   set   in   the   same   condition.     Refer   the   SORS   PRINT   LOSS 

EQUALIZATION curves to select the appropriate position.   Position 1 with the 

680pf capacitor is recommended for 35mm recording.
