4. Forward, Rewind and Precision Cueing
Audio (from CD and USB) can be fast forwarded and rewound using the ‘FFW/REW Cueing Wheel’.
BEWARE
:
>>>
The ‘FFW/REW Cueing Wheel’ is very sensitive.
<<<
Touching it will always affect the audio!
If the ‘FFW/REW Cueing Wheel’ is turned during play, it will forward or rewind the audio accordingly. Audio will resume
playing normally only when the ‘FFW/REW Cueing Wheel’ is no longer moving.
The ‘FFW/REW Cueing Wheel’ can also be used to cue a track to a precise point. Turn the wheel to the desired point, press
‘PLAY’ then ‘CUE’.
>>> BEWARE
: precision cueing is noisy!
<<<
This will engage as soon as the ‘FFW/REW Cueing Wheel’ is turned forward (even slightly) when a track is cued or paused.
If this happens by accident, simply press ‘CUE’ to stop the noise.
When precision cueing is intentional, you must make sure that the channel on the desk
(CD1 or CD2) is turned off / faded down / on cue mode.
4. USB Formats and conventions
This machine will only recognise USBs in
FAT
(FAT16 or FAT32) format. NTFS, exFAT or other formats will not work.
This machine will only play audio in
mp3
format and at
16bit
and
44.1Khz
(41,000hz).
IMPORTANT:
>>> USBs SHOULD ONLY CONTAIN THE AUDIO INTENDED FOR BROADCAST
and nothing else
<<<
>>> USBs SHOULD NOT CONTAIN ANY FOLDER
nor any non-audio file.
<<<
Audio files located in a folder will not show automatically. To find it, you will need to press ‘Folder Search’, turn the
‘Selection Knob’ to find the required folder and confirm by pressing down the ‘Selection Knob’. You will need to repeat the
process with every sub-folder.
