2. Eject / Insert
Only use the ‘CD Eject/Insert’ buttons to operate the CD trays:
DO NOT PUSH CD TRAYS
manually.
CDs cannot be ejected while playing, but USBs may safely be inserted or pulled out at any time.
>>> BEWARE
: Removing a USB while playing will stop the audio.
<<<
3. Playing Audio
Once the CD or USB is inserted and the source is confirmed, the first track is ready to play automatically.
>>> NOTE
: CDs take longer to be ready than USBs.
<<<
When the CUE button stays lit up (red) and PLAY is flashing (blue), your track is ready to play.
TURN THE ‘SELECTION KNOB’
to choose a different track
.
The desired track is ready to play automatically.
>>> BEWARE
: turning the ‘Selection Knob’ while playing WILL STOP THE TRACK (and start playing another)!
<<<
There is no ‘program’ function for either CD or USB (you cannot pre-select several tracks in advance).
You can cue and/or play different tracks from the same USB simultaneously on CD1 and CD2. This is not possible with CDs.
You can cue a track from a different point than the start, but you must make sure that the desk channel (CD1 or CD2) is
turned off / faded down / in cue mode, because cueing a track from a different point than the start is noisy! To cue a track,
first play it from the beginning, and then pause it (press ‘PLAY / PAUSE’) at the desired point. Press ‘PLAY / PAUSE’ one
more time to continue play from that point and press ‘CUE’. It is now ready to play from the last point you paused. You
can make this faster / more precise by using the ‘FFW/REW Cueing Wheel’ (see instructions next page).
