• Always check the teat for signs of
excessive wear by pulling the teat in all
directions before each use especially
when the child has teeth. Replace
when sticky from use, visibly damaged
or showing signs of tears or bites to
avoid the danger of small parts being
swallowed.
• For safety and hygiene purposes, replace
the teat after 1-2 months use.
• Do not expose the teat to direct sunlight/
heat or leave in sterilising solution for
longer than the stated time as this can
damage the teat.
• Store hygienically in a dark and dry place.
• Do not dip the teat in in medicine!
• If the bottle/breast milk container is
damaged on the inside (e.g. scratches), it
should be replaced for reasons of
hygiene.
• Keep all components not in use out of the
reach of children.
Note:
NUK Bottles and Teats are
compatible only with the corresponding
product range (First Choice

EN 14350.
Caution!
Ignoring this warning can cause
minor personal injury and/or property
damage:
• Do not microwave bottles filled with feed
or water (risk of explosion/product
damage).
Uneven heating may result in scalding!
• Never heat closed bottles as they may
explode!
• Before each use, softly squeeze the teat
vent and drinking hole to ensure they are
open.
• Cooling down a plastic bottle that has
been filled with hot liquid (> 80 °C) and
sealed with the lid, could cause the bottle
to deform permanently.
3.5 EMC
The electric breast pump complies with the
limits for group 1, class B of a medical
electrical device (according to CISPR 11).
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) refers
to the ability of a device to function properly
in its electromagnetic environment without
inducing inadmissible electromagnetic
interferences. Such interferences can be
transmitted among others by connecting
cables or air.
Inadmissible interference from the
environment can lead to incorrect behaviour
of the medical device. Likewise, in certain
cases the electric breast pump can cause
such interferences with other devices. To
resolve the problems, one or more of the
following measures should be taken:
• Change the orientation or distance of the
device to the source of the interference.
• Use the electric breast pump in a
different location.
• Please contact our customer service for
further information.
The electric breast pump must not be used
directly next to or stacked with other
appliances. If such operation is required, the
electric breast pump must be observed in
order to check its intended operation in this
arrangement.
Further precautions with regard to electrical
disturbances to maintain basic safety during
expected service life are not provided.
Note:
The electric breast pump has no essential
features according to EN 60601-1. The
system may be interfered with by other
devices, even if these devices comply with the
emitting requirements specified in CISPR 11
(Comité international spécial des
perturbations radioélectriques - International
Committee on Radio Interference).
