Congratulations on your purchase of the
NUK Babyphone!
You can now comfortably leave your baby
alone in the room without worrying that you
might not hear calls or crying - the transmitter
of the NUK Babyphone will send all loud noises
from the nursery to your receiver. Very quiet
noises, such as your child babbling to itself or
talking in its sleep, will not be transmitted. That
way you will know at all times whether your
child really needs you there.
Although the NUK Babyphone is very easy to
operate, you should nevertheless read these
instructions carefully and follow our safety
instructions.

2. Safety Instructions
• Please read these instructions carefully
before first operation of the
NUK Babyphone and save the instructions
for reference.
• Under no circumstances does the
NUK
Babyphone replace personal super-
vision.
•
The appliance was built to comply with
Standard TC099 and therefore emits
such low radiation that any danger to
health can be ruled out. However, in
order to protect your baby from even
such low radiation levels we recommend
a distance of at least one meter between
baby and transmitter.
• Do not place the appliance within reach of
the baby. The NUK Babyphone is not a toy.
• Before using the NUK Babyphone with the
adaptor, you must check the mains voltage
and ensure that it is compatible with that
given for the adaptor.
• The appliances require adequate ventila-
tion while in use. Therefore do not cover
them with pillows, towels etc., because the
appliances will overheat.
• If the appliance will not be used for some
time, remove the batteries because they
may leak.
• When not in use, remove the plug to
prevent overheating.
• After use, switch the appliances off.
