Place and thread each thumb screw (with vinyl
washer) through the glass and base and then
tighten securely.DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN as you may
break the glass.
Place the black base cap over the top of stainless steel base making certain it is well seated and flat.
Place the burner inside the base cutout.
Place your fireplace on a stable, flat surface for use. Make sure to tighten the thumb screws periodically as
they may become loose over time or with frequent movement.
Use only a recommended Ventless Fireplace Fuel like “Nu-Flame Bio-Ethanol Fuel”. Make certain the
sliding dampener on the burner slides easily back and forth and is completely open prior to filling. Make
certain the burner is clean and free of dirt or packing debris. Pour fuel into the burner using a funnel. The
burner should be no more than 2/3 full. DO NOT OVERFILL. Wipe up any spilled fuel. Use a long match or
extended lighter to ignite the fuel.
Use the included dampener tool to open and close the dampener, adjusting the height of the flame or to
extinguish the fire completely.
CAUTION: The flame starts out slowly. Please allow 15 minutes to reach the optimum temperature and
flame height. DO NOT ASSUME THE FUEL DID NOT IGNITE. Follow the refilling instructions in this manual.
