L99260 Adjustable Width Bedstick
General Safety Warning
Please ensure these instructions are fully read and
implemented. Failure to do so may result in injury.
Retain these instructions in a safe place for future
reference.
1.0 Intended Use
The Adjustable Width Bedstick provides stable
support to assist users getting into and out of bed.
It can also be used to aid repositioning when lying
in bed.
2.0 Safety Precautions
WARNING – To avoid possible head entrapment,
position the Bedstick at least 320mm (12.5") away
from both headboard and footboard.
Always ensure that the mattress is pushed up as
close as possible to the Bedstick. Any gap could
allow the user to become wedged in between.
Do not exceed the maximum user weight of the
product 20st, 127kg.
Do not fit this product to slatted or profiling beds.
Not suitable for use by children.
3.0 Unpacking
Remove packaging and check all parts carefully. If
any parts appear damaged, do not assemble and
contact your supplier immediately.
4.0 Assembly Instructions
The Bedstick is packaged in three parts, figure 2.
Slot one end of the extension tubes inside the
handle section, align the holes and secure using an
‘e-clip’.
Slot the other end of the extension tubes inside the
main Bedstick frame tubes.
Place the Bedstick on top of the mattress to
determine the desired width.
Adjust to align the holes at desired width and insert
an ‘e-clip’ to secure the two sections together.
