Caring for your Novolin-Pen® 4
Cleaning and maintenance
Novolin-Pen® 4 does not require any
maintenance except cleaning.

You can clean your Novolin-Pen® 4
by wiping it with a cotton swab
moistened with a mild detergent.
Do not put your Novolin-Pen® 4 in
water, as this may damage it.

Clean off dirt and dust with a dry
soft brush.
Warranty registration

Do not try to repair a faulty
Novolin-Pen® 4.

Do not lubricate Novolin-Pen® 4.

Novolin-Pen® 4 must only be used
according to the instructions
provided in this manual. The
manufacturer cannot be held
responsible for any problems with
Novolin-Pen® 4 if these instructions
are not followed.
If you find that your Novolin-Pen® 4 is
faulty, Novo Nordisk Canada will replace
it if you return your Novolin-Pen® 4 to
us, for inspection, within 3 years of
receiving it.
If you need the LOT number of your
Novolin-Pen® 4 it is located on the
mechanical part as illustrated in the
diagram inside the cover.
Disposing of Novolin-Pen® 4
If Novolin-Pen® 4 is to be disposed of,
do so in a safe and environmentally
correct way:

Remove and dispose of the needle
and the cartridge as instructed by
your healthcare professional.

Dispose of your Novolin-Pen® 4 as
prescribed by your local authorities.
Novolin-Pen® 4 does not contain
substances harmful to the environment.
