7.4.1 Installing the RHEL 5 Drivers

Open a terminal.
2 Mount the driver pack ISO. For instructions on how to use the ISO images see
Section 5.1, “Virtual CD Readers” (page 33).
(Optional) If you are installing from an RPM that you built, the RPM is located
in
/usr/src/redhat/RPMS/ arch
, where

is the architecture of the
virtual machine. See Section 7.4.5, “Building Your Own RPMs” (page 81) for
more information.
3 Install the RPM.
3a Open a terminal.

rpm -U xxx .rpm

/boot/grub/menu.lst
file and make the following changes:
• Set the default=
