Using the Master Reset Button

Your MiFi 2 comes with a master reset button that allows you to return it to its factory default state.

The master reset button is recessed in a hole on the back of the device. You need a paper clip or 
similar object to push the button.

 

➊

Make sure your MiFi 2 is powered on.

 

➋

Locate the master reset button on the back of the device directly below the raised SIM card 
section.

 

➌

Insert a paper clip into the hole and hold the button down for five (5) seconds.

Your list of wireless networks now shows the original default network when you first 
configured your device.

 

➍

Connect to your MiFi 2 again and re-configure it. Your pre-configured profile information 
stays the same, but for any custom profiles you have to enter your APN and other 
information again.
