Purpose
This interface provides 2 alternative functions:
•
If an ASC, NCC or equivalent controller is connected to the DATA I/O interface
then a further (slave) scan head can be connected to the XY4-100 / SLAVE LINK
interface.
In this case the slave scan head will be connected to the master scan head via an
adapter and an Ethernet CAT5 cable.

–
If no controller is connected to the DATA I/O interface then a controller, using
the XY2-100 protocol, can be connected to the XY4-100 / SLAVE LINK interface.
