4.2.1 CPU Configuration
Intel SpeedStep Technology
Intel SpeedStep technology is Intel’s new power saving technology. Processors
can switch between multiple frequencies and voltage points to enable power
saving.
If you install Windows 7 / 8 and want to enable this function, please set this
item to [Enabled].
**NOTE: Enabling this function may reduce CPU voltage and lead to system
stability or compatibility issues with some power supplies. Please set this item
to [Disabled] if above issues occur.
CPU C States Support
Enable CPU C States Support for power saving. It is recommended to keep C3
enabled, C6 and C7 disabled.
Enhanced Halt State (C1E)
This item allows users to enable or disable Enhanced Halt State (C1E) for lower
power consumption.
