The software determines when the drift compensation for a detector reaches an
unacceptable level that can compromise detector performance. When a detector reaches
an unacceptable level, the software gives a maintenance warning. Table 36 summarizes
the three levels of AWACS maintenance warnings:

allowed limit.
Maintenance Urgent
dust accumulation above the allowed limit. The
Maintenance Alert level allows maintenance before
the performance of the device is compromised.
